VBS 2011

We had our church's VBS last May 2-6 2011. We started late this year, unlike last year, we started it on April 12-16. We had around 30 kids who attended the VBS this time. Our VBS theme was The Armor Of God from Ephesians 6:11, "Put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." I was the only available teacher but it's good my hubby also taught the boys for 2 days. I prepared all the stuffs needed for their activities, crafts, lessons, games and snacks. It's like I was a super woman but I'm thankful my hubby was always there to give a helping hand. I slept late for a week doing all the needed stuffs for the next day. I thank God that He gave me strength to handle the kids in VBS. All the kids were able to memorized the memory verse and most of them accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. I enjoyed teaching the kids and 5 days passed so quick and last Saturday was their graduation. It was a blessing to see those kids come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.



















Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. (Isaiah 6:8)

The Ant And The Contact Lens: a true story

Brenda was almost halfway to the top of the tremendous granite cliff. She was standing on a ledge where she was taking a breather during this, her first rock climb. As she rested there, the safety rope snapped against her eye and knocked out her contact lens . 'Great', she thought. 'Here I am on a rock ledge, hundreds of feet from the bottom and hundreds of feet to the top of this cliff, and now my sight is blurry.' The Power Of Prayer

My hubby requested to our pastor that he would like to preach in our church before we leave Texas for the Philippines. So my hubby got to preach Wednesday night. His message was about PRAYER. Before he started his message, he told the congregation how the good Lord has answered our prayers. For many months, we've been praying to the good Lord that we can sell our house and give us the means so we can go back to the Philippines. My hubby even set a goal that he would like to go to the Philippines by the end of this year. I told him it's impossible because it's not easy to sell a house these days. It was already October and still we didn't have a buyer. But then, we kept on praying and believing that God will answer our prayers in His time and He did.
