God's Highest Priority For Our Lives

Romans 8:28

One of our greatest needs is to know that we are loved. Each one of us has to feel certain, deep down in our hearts, that someone loves us, care for us, and has our best interest at heart.

That is how God designed us. He wants us to know that He loves every one of us with a passionate intensity too deep for words. God created humans beings with fellowship in mind--first with Himself, then with others. But we cannot fully love one another until we have ourselves experienced the love of God. We experience His love when we willing surrender to His call to be our Savior, Lord and friend.

There are at least three reasons God seeks our surrender.

1. He loves us and desires our fellowship.

So long as we hold something back from God, we cannot know Him completely or fully Experience His love. when we surrender to Him, we get all of Him.

2. He wants our service for him to be effective and fruitful.

The more we get to know Him and love Jesus, the more effective our service will be. The closer we draw to God, the more impact our lives will have. The more energetically we nurture our relationship with the Lord, the greater the positive mark we will leave behind.

3 He waits for the freedom to bless us.

God is omnipotent but will not violate His own principles. He draws us to Himself so we can experience His love and forgiveness. He asks for our willing surrender so that He can give us the best blessing He has to offer.

If we had a personal intimate relationship with the Savior of this universe, then whatever problems we faced He would face them with us and He would bring a sweet resolve and peace to our heart.

When you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, He not only forgave you but made you into a new creature, no longer standing at a distance from God, but able to draw near to Him.

So why do we resist? with this in mind, why does anyone resist surrendering to God?

The more we get to know and love Jesus, the more effective our service will be.

If you have drifted in your devotion to the Savior and feel as though you grow more distant each day in your relationship to Jesus, then pray that He would draw you near once more. He knows your weakness and if you will tell Him that you want Him to take control of your life, He will come to you in a mighty way and bring hope and light to your situation,no matter how dark and hopeless it may feel.

(Isaiah 55:7) Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

A Voice From Beyond

In Memory Of A Soul

Come to be with us, We do not talk about our neighbors , for our voices are stilled, but we send out messages of warning to those who view our silent city----- the city in which others have placed us'

Oh how we would like to warn you not to cover your sins, but to confess and forsake them, that they may be blotted out of GOD's record. It is not all of life just to live; but to live again--- at peace with GOD and man. There is a great difference between those of us with Lazarus in Heaven and those of us with Dives in HELL. DO NOT wait until you come to be with us to repent BUT DO IT NOW; THERE IS NO BETTER TIME. Do it before you come here it will be to late then. we waited to long "O ETERNITY ! how long?" is our wail.

Oh take heed of GOD's messengers-- those who cease not to teach and preach JESUS CHRIST, GOD's only begotten Son, as crucified for our sins according to the scriptures, buried, but risen again from the dead the third day, according to scriptures that whosoever believeth in Him (JESUS) should not perish but have everlasting life. Search the scriptures which are full of promises and warnings to your precious soul. Follow peace with all menand holiness ,without which no man shall see the LORD. live not for life on earth; but live live only with that eternal abode in mind. Set your affections on things above where CHRIST sitteth at the right hand of GOD; Assemble with Christians at every convenient appointment, least satan distract you from the WORD of GOD and lead you astray . Watch and Pray always. Keep yourself in the love of GOD; for your adversary the DEVIL goeth about as a roaring lion seeking whom hr devour. Hear us! hear us! HEAR US NOW! One second is to long to hesitate, Most of us are in Eternal ! BURNING because we despised the precious moment of opportunity to accept Christ's PARDON.

GRACE OF GOD

TIS NOT BY WORKS THAT I HAVE BEEN REDEEMED,
BUT BY HIS BLOOD ALONE I AM SET FREE,
ONCE AND FOR ALL REDEMPTION WORK WAS FINISHED
WHEN JESUS SHED HIS BLOOD ON CALVARY
NO OTHER WAY IS OFFERED FOR SALVATION,
MY ONLY HOPE IS IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS;
TIS BY THE BLOOD I HAVE HIS PEACE WITHIN.

"EVER LIFT THY FACE UPON ME
AS I WORK AND WAIT FOR THEE
RESTING NEATH THY SMILE LORD JESUS
EARTH DARK SHADOWS FLEE,
BRIGHTNESS OF MY FATHERS GLORY
SUNSHINE OF MY FATHERS FACE
KEEP ME EVER TRUSTING RESTING
FILL ME WITH THY GRACE"

THE WONDROUS GRACE OF GOD

TEXT TITUS 2:11-14

(1) WHAT IS THE GRACE OF GOD? The grace of God is define as The favor God shown to the undeserving, what is grace in God,what is grace in Christ, and what is grace in the believer.

GRACE IN GOD IS GODLY MERCY, PITYING, GOD WISDOM PLANNING, GOD POWER PREPARING, AND GODS LOVE PROVIDING. GODS GRACE STRETCHING FROM EDEN TO CALVARY. GRACE IN CHRIST IS SAVING GRACE SUGGESTED BY JESUS, SANCTIFYING GRACE SUGGESTED BY CHRIST, SOVEREIGN GRACE IMPLIED BY THE LORD, AND SATISFYING GRACE BY THE LITTLE WORD OUR. PAUL WAS ABLE TO SAY THAT HE WAS WHAT HE WAS BY THE GRACE OF GOD ( 1COR. 15:10). ANOTHER DEFINATION OF GODS GRACE IS HIS ACTIVE FAVOR BESTOWING THE GREATEST GIFT UPON THOSE WHO HAVE DESERVED THE GREATEST PUNISHMENT.

(2) WHAT GRACE BROUGHT.
(A) SALVATION- ONLY BY THE GRACE OF GOD NOT BY THE LAW, NOT BY SCIENCE, NOT BY PSYCHOLOGY, NOT BY HUMANISM, NONE OF THESE CAN SAVE YOU BUT ONLY BY THE GRACE OF GOD, (EPH. 2:8-10).

(THREE THINGS SALVATION HAS BROUGHT)
(A) SALVATION IS OF JESUS -- WHOSE NAME MEANS SAVIOR HE IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN.

(B) IT IS FULL AND FREE---IF GRACE PROVIDES IT THEN IT MUST BE SO SALVATION IS TOTALLY FREE, ENTIRELY FREE , FREE FOR THE TAKING, IT IS A GIFT, (EPH 2:8-10)

(C) IT IS AVAILABLE TO ALL PEOPLE.-- JESUS CAME TO MAKE SALVATION AVAILABLE TO EVERY ONE (ROMAN 10:12-13) FOR THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE JEWS AND GREEK: FOR THE SAME LORD OVER ALL IS RICH UNTO ALL THAT CALL UPON HIM(V-13) FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD, SHALL BE SAVED

(3) WHAT GRACE TAUGHT,---MANY PEOPLE THINK THAT SALVATION IS JUST A MATTER OF HAVING THEIR SINS FORGIVEN AND RECEIVING A NEW LIFE, BUT IT IS MUCH MORE THAN THIS, THE GRACE THAT SAVES US GOES ON TO SANCTIFY US TWO WAYS

(A) NEGATIVELY- TO SAY NO, TO UNGODLINESS AND WORLDLY PLEASURES. - TO SAY NO MEANS TO RENOUNCING, THE WORD UNGODLINESS REFERS TO THAT WHICH IS UN LIKE GOD, (ROMAN 1;18-32) THE WORD WORLDLY PLEASURES REFER TO TO ANY UNSPIRITUAL DESIRE AS SEXUAL DESIRE, LIQUOR MANIA, EXCESSIVE YEARNING FOR MATERIAL POSSESSION, POWER, SELF-PLEASING. READ (1JOHN 2:16; TITUS 3:3)

(B) POSITIVELY-- TO LIVE SELF CONTROLLED, UPRIGHT, AND GODLY IN THE PRESENT AGE, TO BE SAVED IS NOT TO JUST TO RECEIVE A INSURANCE TICKET TO HEAVEN: IT IS TO LIVE WITH PRUDENCE, JUSTICE, AND REVERENCE. THAT IS SELF- CONTROLLED--(OUR SELF-WARD ATTITUDE) UPRIGHT, (OUR MAN-WARD ATTITUDE) AND GODLY (OUR GOD-WARD ATTITUDE) HOW DO YOU FIT INTO THIS PICTURE?

(4) WHAT GRACE WROUGHT---- THE FACT THAT THE GRACE OF GOD BROUGHT SALVATION, MEANS THAT WE HAVE A BLESSED HOPE WHAT IS THE CHRISTIANS BLESSED HOPE? IT IS THE PERSONAL RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST THE WORD HOPE DOES NOT IMPLY UNCERTAINTY, BUT MEANS A CONFIDENT EXPECTATION THE HOPE OF CHRIST COMING IS BLESSED INDEED. THINK OF THE ONE WHO IS COMING, THINK HOW HE IS COMING, THINK WHY HE IS COMING.

(A) TO RAPTURE THE CHURCH, INTO HIS PRESENCE (JOHN 14:5; ICOR. 15:51-52; 1THESS. 4:16-17)

(B) TO REIGN IN GREAT GLORY, (REV. 1:7) WE AS CHRISTIAN ARE TO LIVE LOOKING FOR THE RETURN OG JESUS CHRIST, DO WE LIVE LIKE THIS OR WE LOOKING AT THE WORLD AND ITS UPSET AND UNREST, AND SINS, OR ARE WE LOOKING FOR JESUS GLORIOUS RETURN.

(5) WHAT GRACE SOUGHT.---- WHAT DID GODS GRACE SEEK? THE ANSWER IS IN (TITUS 2:14) IN THESE WORDS PECULIAR PEOPLE MEANS A SET APART PEOPLE, A DIFFERENT PEOPLE, A PEOPLE OF HIS VERY OWN ,THIS IS WHY JESUS DIED FIRST THAT HE MIGHT REDEEM US FROM ALL WICKEDNESS , AND THEN HE MIGHT PURIFY FOR HIMSELF A PEOPLE THAT ARE HIS VERY OWN EAGER TO DO THAT WHICH IS GOOD.

THE KIND OF PEOPLE THAT GRACE SEEKS.
(A) A REDEEM PEOPLE----- A SAVED PEOPLE.
(B) A CLEANSED PEOPLE---- A SANCTIFIED PEOPLE.
(C) A ZEALOUS PEOPLE----- A SERVING PEOPLE

WE DO NOT WORK IN ORDER TO BE SAVED, BUT WHEN, BY THE GRACE OF GOD WE ARE SAVED, THEN WE WORK WITH GREAT ZEAL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD...

I WILL NOT WORK, MY SOUL TO SAVE
FOR THAT MY LORD HAS DONE
BUT I WILL WORK LIKE ANY SLAVE
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD'S DEAR SON

THE COMEs OF GOD'S WORD

(1) COME INTO A PLACE OF SAFETY. ( GEN. 7:1)- And the LORD said unto Noah, come into the Ark.
(2) COME TO A GOODLY FELLOWSHIP. ( NUM. 10:29) And Moses said unto Hohab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses father in law, We are journeing unto the place of which the LORD said I will giveit to you: Come thou with us and we will do good: for the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel.
(3) COME FOR PERSONAL CLEANSING. (Isa.1:18) COME NOW, and let us reason together, saith the LORD though your sins be as scarlet they shall be as white as snow, though they be red like crimson they shall be as wool.
(4) COME FOR A SATISFYING PORTION, (ISA, 55:1) Ho every one that thirsteth, COME YE TO THE WATER,and he that hath no money; COME YE, BUY, AND EAT; yea, COME BUY WINE AND MILK WITHOUT MONEY, AND WITHOUT PRICE.
(5) COME FOR REST OF SOUL. (MAT. 11:28) COME UNTO ME all ye that labour and heavy laden, and I WILL GIVE YOU REST,
(6) COME AT THE KINGS URGENT INVITATION. (MAT.22:4) Again he sent forth other servants, saying, tell them which are bidden behold, i have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatling are killed, and all things are ready: COME UNTO THE MARRIAGE.
(7) COME TO THE GOSPEL FEAST, (LUKE 14:17) AND sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, COME: FOR ALL THINGS ARE NOW READY.
(8) COME AT THE THREE FOLD CALL. (REV. 22:17) And the Spirit and Bride say, COME, and let him, that hearth say, COME and let him take the water of life freely.

Incredible What Love Has Done

THE (SCIENTIFIC) DEATH OF JESUS CHRIST

At the age of 33, Jesus was condemned to the death penalty.

At the time crucifixion was the "worst" death. Only the worst criminals condemned to be crucified. Yet it was even more dreadful for Jesus, unlike other criminals condemned to death by crucifixion Jesus was to be nailed to the cross by His hands and feet.

Each nail was 6 to 8 inches long.

The nails were driven into His wrist. Not into His palms as is commonly portrayed. There's a tendon in the wrist that extends to the shoulder. The Roman guards knew that when the nails were being hammered into the wrist that tendon would tear and break, forcing Jesus to use His back muscles to support himself so that He could breath.

Both of His feet were nailed together. Thus He was forced to support Himself on the single nail that impaled His feet to the cross. Jesus could not support himself with His legs because of the pain so He was forced to alternate between arching His back then using his legs just to continue to breath. Imagine the struggle, the pain, the suffering, the courage.

Jesus endured this reality for over 3 hours.

Yes, over 3 hours! Can you imagine this kind of suffering? A few minutes before He died, Jesus stopped bleeding.

He was simply pouring water from his wounds.

From common images we see wounds to His hands and feet and even the spear wound to His side. But do we realize His wounds were actually made in his body. A hammer driving large nails through the wrist, the feet overlapped and an even large nail hammered through the arches, then a Roman guard piercing His side with a spear. But before the nails and the spear Jesus was whipped and beaten. The whipping was so severe that it tore the flesh from His body. The beating so horrific that His face was torn and his beard ripped from His face. The crown of thorns cut deeply into His scalp. Most men would not have survived this torture.

He had no more blood to bleed out, only water poured from His wounds.
The human adult body contains about 3.5 liters (just less than a gallon) of blood.

Jesus poured all 3.5 liters of his blood; He had three nails hammered into his members; a crown of thorns on his head and, beyond that, a Roman soldier who stabbed a spear into his chest.

All these without mentioning the humiliation He passed after carrying his own cross for almost 2 kilometers, while the crowd spat in his face and threw stones (the cross was almost 30 kg of weight, only for its higher part, where his hands were nailed).

Jesus had to endure this experience, so that you can have free access to God.
So that your sins could be "washed" away. All of them, with no exception! Don't ignore this situation. JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOU! For you, who now read this post. Do not believe that He only died for others (those who go to church or for pastors, bishops, etc).
He died for you! It is easy to pass jokes or foolish photos by e-mail, but when it comes to God, sometimes you feel ashamed to forward to others because you are worried of what they may think about you.

Accept the reality, the truth that JESUS IS THE ONLY SALVATION FOR THE WORLD.

For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Satan's War On Prayer

I was going through my files yesterday and I was sorting those papers when I happened to see this printed in a bond paper. I got this from my e-mail long time ago before I went to the US. I liked the message so I printed it. I'm glad I did so I can share it here. This was written by Father Harold Hammond.

All of us, from time to time, have had problems in our prayer time. Has this ever happened to you:

Sometimes when you begin to pray, you remember that there is something else you have to do. Perhaps make a phone call, do an errand. Sometimes when you pray, you become bored and say the words of prayer out of your head instead of your heart.

Sometimes when you pray, you become so sleepy that you can hardly keep your eyes open. Sometimes you become lazy and just don't want to pray. You want to do something else, anything else.

Sometimes when you pray, disturbing thoughts come to you such as , "Is this all true? Am I really doing anything worthwhile.I really don't feel any different." These thoughts draw you toward unbelief.

Sometimes when you pray, you become so thirsty that you feel you cannot pray another minute without a glass of cool water. Sometimes, you become so hungry that you feel you will faint if you don't get a snack RIGHT NOW.

Sometimes these things threaten to overwhelm you, and you feel sadness that your prayer is so weak.

My dearly beloved brothers and sisters, when you turn to God in prayer, the world of darkness declares war on you. The world of darkness finds nothing so terrifying as a man or woman or child who turns to God in heart-felt prayer. Satan and his denizens of darkness will try every means to confuse you and distract you from your purpose of learning how to pray.

All the problems I mentioned above are sent by Satan to turn you away from your Father God. When you turn to prayer, you can expect spiritual warfare. You can learn that all these distractions are from the enemy. It's almost like Satan can whisper in your ear.

Anytime Satan comes against you with power, it appears that he knows the great blessing that God has in store for you. It takes courage to pray, and it takes perseverance. Stick to it, don't quit, and never give up.

You will have moments of feeling close to God, or moments of warmth in your heart. These are mountaintop experiences. Oswald Chambers says God lets us have a moment on the mountaintop so we can go back into the demon-infested valley.

One thing to remember and write on the door-post of your heart. God hears you just as much when you're sleepy or distracted or bored or in unbelief. It takes more courage to fight on in the distractions of prayer than when the warmth of the love of God embraces you. Don't judge your prayer life by the good times, but by the hard times.

Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. You cannot judge the love of God by the way you feel in prayer. One moment of turning your heart toward God is better than a year in the best the world has to offer. The Psalmist says, "One day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere."

Be strong, persevere, stick to it. It does get better. Your faith does grow stronger, but we are to walk by "faith" and not by "sight." Over time, you will grow constant in prayer and your life will be transformed to the point that others who see you will say, "There's something about that man, that woman. I don't know what it is-BUT I WANT IT FOR MY LIFE." Prayer does not PREPARE you for the work of God. Prayer IS the work of God.

Our God awaits you and our God is a "consuming fire." As you get stronger in battle, God will use you to strengthen the other brothers and sisters.

"And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren." Luke 22:31,32, KJV.

What Happens In Heaven

This is one of the nicest e-mails I have seen, and it really puts
things into perspective..

I dreamt that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We
walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels. My angel
guide stopped in front of the first section and said, 'This is the Receiving
Section.
Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are received.'

I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many
angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps
from people all over the world.

Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second
section..

The angel then said to me, 'This is the Packaging and Delivery
Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed
and delivered to the living persons who asked for them.. 'I noticed again
how busy it was there. There were many angels working hard at that station,
since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged for
delivery to Earth.

Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the
door of a very small station. To my great surprise, only one angel was
seated there, idly doing nothing. 'This is the Acknowledgment Section,' my
angel friend quietly admitted to me.. He seemed embarrassed 'How is it that
there is no work going on here?' I asked.

'So sad,' the angel sighed. 'After people receive the blessings that
they asked for, very few send back acknowledgments .'

'How does one acknowledge God's blessings?' I asked.

'Simple,' the angel answered. Just say, 'Thank you, Lord.'

'What blessings should they acknowledge?' I asked..

'If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof
overhead and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this world. If you
have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are
among the top 8% of the world's wealthy .'

'And if you get this on your own computer, you are part of the 1% in
the world who has that opportunity.'

'If you woke up this morning with more health than illness ... you are
more blessed than the many who will not even survive this day .'

'If you have never experienced the fear in battle, the loneliness of
imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation ...you are
ahead of 700 million people in the world.'

'If you can attend a church without the fear of harassment, arrest,
torture or death you are envied by, and more blessed than, three billion
people in the world. '

'If your parents are still alive and still married ...you are very
rare .'

'If you can hold your head up and smile, you are not the norm, you're
unique to all those in doubt and despair.'

Ok, what now? How can I start? If you can read this message, you just
received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you as very
special and you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world
who cannot read at all.

Have a good day, count your blessings, and if you want, pass this
along to remind everyone else how blessed we all are.

ATTN:
Acknowledge Dept.:
'Thank you Lord, for giving me the ability to share this message and
for giving me so many wonderful people to share it with.'

Updates...

It's been a while since I updated this blog. I know I've been lagging behind regarding my updates here. As I've written before, we don't have a church building yet so we use our house in holding our services. We tried to rent a house to hold our services but there was a misunderstanding with the owner. The house have no electricity and the rent she was asking was a little high so we didn't push through. Last month, we bought a 70 x 70 inch projector screen, speakers and a microphone to be used for our film showing ministry. We've been checking out the prices of the screen here in our province before we bought and it was pricey. We ended up buying it in Manila and it was cheaper there.

We're planning again to show a gospel movie. Hubby and I have been checking out the Christian stores here to see what movies they got. They have some gospel movies that we want and we will have to buy it next time. We still have some gospel movies here that we haven't shown yet. Another project that needs to be done is our hymnals. We only printed a few copies of hymns and that's what we use to sing songs for the Lord during our services. We will do what we can do to serve and worship the Lord. To God be the glory!

THE LORD'S TEST

I woke up this morning
and knew that today,
The sun would not be shining
and the clouds would be gray.

As I stepped outside,
rain fell upon my head.
My car wouldn't start
so I walked to school instead.

I forgot all of my assignments
I failed all of my tests.
I dropped my head in disgust
and asked the Lord for
one request.

'Lord, why is it that
things won't go my way?'
He gently replied,
'Dear child;
it is because
you didn't thank me yesterday.

I woke you up and enabled
you to see the sun again.
I gave you shelter,
protected your family, and even let
you make a new friend.

I blessed you far
greater than I ever had before.
But you were too busy
to thank me once more.

You didn't feel sick
because I maintained your health.
You had money in your pocket
because I maintained your wealth.

You had shoes on you feet
and clothes to wear, too.
You had plenty of food to eat,
and what did you do?

You ignored me and went
about your tasks.
But when you wanted something
you never hesitated to ask.

I was there when you needed me
and that wasn't too long ago.
But when
things started going your way,
it was me you did not know.

As if that weren't enough,
I provided your favorite luxuries.
This was something I didn't have
to do-they weren't even necessities.

And when it was time to get on your
knees and show your gratitude,
You decided that after such a
fulfilling day, you weren't in the mood.

So I decided to
give you just a little test.
To show you how it would feel
to stop being blessed.'

I began to realize what
the Lord was saying.
And when I got home, I fell
to my knees and started praying.

He said, 'My child, you have
learned and you know I do forgive.
But remember to remember this day
as long as you shall live.

I love filling your life with joy,
and your pain I'll alleviate it.
But just a simple thank you
would show how much you
appreciate it.'

Film Showing Of The Movie "Jesus"

We had our 2nd film showing last Holy Thursday (April 9) in our carport of the movie "Jesus" from the book of Luke. There were more people who came and watched than the first time that we had a film showing. Our carport was so crowded. We were so glad that a lot of people came to watch. The movie was just in time for the Holy Week as they call it here in the Philippines. The said movie was translated in different languages and dialect so the people could understand it. It was a 2 hour movie and while the people were watching we gave them peanuts to munch. After the film showing, we feed the people with "arroz caldo", a Filipino delicacy. My sister was the one who cooked it. Most of the people who came said that they were blessed with the movie and they really appreciated it. Imagine, they got to watch a movie and had snacks all for free, he-he!

Then the next day which was Good Friday, we had a film showing in one of the villages here in our town where most of my relatives from my mother's side live. We went to talk to them first about our plan of showing a movie to their place if they will agree. We're so glad they did so we arranged with some of my kinfolks there to come and haul the piece of plyboard that my brother had made and painted white as a screen. We don't have a roll up screen yet for our film showing. This will be our next project. Anyways, during the night of the film showing, lots of people came to watch. We had it in the open front yard of one of my relative's house. Before the movie was finished it showered but just for a little bit. It's good the people didn't go home, they just went under the shades. It was already almost 10:00 PM when the movie was finished. Well, film showing is one way to reach out people for Christ and we will continue this and it will be a part of our ministry here.

Water Baptism

There were 4 of them whom my hubby baptized in water at San Fabian Beach last April 5. My two nephews Mark and Kenneth, my brother Celso and a young girl named Jenny had repented of their sins and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. So in obedience to the command and imitation of our Lord Jesus Christ, they were buried with Him in baptism and was raised like Him to live a new life. Thank you Lord for the souls being saved. After the water baptism, we had a picnic at the beach in celebration of the said event.

25 Things About God

1. Give God what's right -- not what's left.

2. Man's way leads to a hopeless end! -- God's way leads to an endless hope.

8. When praying, don't give God instructions - just report for duty.

9. Don't wait for six strong men to take you to church.

22. Worry is the darkroom in which negatives can develop.

23. Give Satan an inch & he'll be a ruler.

24. Be ye fishers of men -- you catch them & He'll clean them..

25. God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.

Film Showing Of The Movie "The Burning Hell"

We had a film showing on Sunday night in our carport of the movie, The Burning Hell. Our friend Pastor Yanie had given us a copy of the movie when we went in their house last Valentine's Day. My brother-in-law has a projector that he bought and that's what we used to show the movie. We borrowed some monobloc chairs from our neighbor who owns a catering business because we only have 15 chairs. We also bought some snacks for all the people who will come to be served after the movie. My sister printed invitations for the film showing and she went house to house in our neighborhood with her son Sunday afternoon and invited the people to come and watch the movie at 8:00 PM. My hubby and I didn't expect a lot of people to come since my sister went inviting people at around 5:00 PM and the film showing was at 8:00 PM. To my surprise, there were more than 30 people who came not counting my family. My hubby gave a short message about hell before the movie started. He said that hell is real and if you are not saved, it's a sure thing that you will end up there when you die. Dear Soul, if you were to die right now, do you KNOW if you would go to heaven or hell to spend eternity?
The Bible says, "That if thou shalt confess in your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and shall believe IN THINE HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, THOU SHALT BE SAVED." Romans 10:9

There's only one way to get saved and that is to repent from your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord.

A Day Of Worship With The Family

We had our worship service in our carport last Sunday and my siblings with their families were all present. My brother Albin had finished installing the electric outlets and switch. My sister Violy had asked her maid to put some curtains to make the carport presentable for our worship service. Albin was the song leader and my brother-in-law played the organ. My hubby gave the message and it was really great serving and worshiping the Lord. After our service, we all ate together our lunch in our carport. We had a potluck.

Our Ministry

We've been here in the Philippines for more than a month already. I've been so glad to see my family whom I missed so much while I was in the US. It's so good to be home after more than 5 years of living in a foreign land. Texas became my homeland for the past five years and I learned to love the place and the people there. When hubby and I left our home in Wichita Falls I can't help myself but cry. It's been my home for 4 years and there were many memories there. But we have to do what the good Lord wants us to do and that is to go back in the Philippines and do missionary works. We've been praying about this for many months and the Lord had given us the means to go back to the Philippines. Hubby had to quit his job and left his family, friends and loved ones there. I know it's a sacrifice on his part but it's nothing compared to what Jesus Christ had done for us. He gave His life so we could be saved from our sins.

We've been having our services in our house already during Sundays and Wednesdays. Hubby is the one preaching and my family here are the attendees. We had invited a pastor to come and preach this coming Sunday afternoon at 3:00 PM and we will be inviting people to attend. I already invited some of my neighbors to come on Sunday and listen to the message. We are also planning to have a film showing on Wednesday nights and invite people to come. We will be meeting in our carport for the meantime until we will find a place to hold our services. We've been preparing it and my youngest brother is in the process of installing electric outlets and lights. We also bought 15 monobloc chairs last weekend which cost P140 each. We will buy some more when we have more funds. We ordered a wooden pulpit and we got it yesterday. It's really nice and we paid P2,500. This is all for the cause of Christ and I pray that God will bless our ministry and He will give us more souls to lead to the Lord and get saved.

The Pastor And His Son

Every Sunday afternoon, after the morning service at the church, the Pastor and his eleven year old son would go out into their town and hand out Gospel Tracts.

This particular Sunday afternoon, as it came time for the Pastor and his son to go to the streets with their tracts, it was very cold outside, as well as pouring down rain. The boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said, "OK, dad, I'm ready."

His Pastor dad asked, "Ready for what?"

"Dad, it's time we gather our tracts together and go out."

Dad responds, "Son, it's very cold outside and it's pouring down rain."

The boy gives his dad a surprised look, asking, "But Dad, aren't people still going to Hell, even though it's raining?"

Dad answers, "Son, I am not going out in this weather."

Despondently, the boy asks, "Dad, can I go? Please?"

His father hesitated for a moment then said, "Son, you can go. Here are the tracts, be careful son."

"Thanks Dad!"

And with that, he was off and out into the rain. This eleven year old boy walked the streets of the town going door to door and handing everybody he met in the street a Gospel Tract.

After two hours of walking in the rain, he was soaking, bone-chilled wet and down to his VERY LAST TRACT. He stopped on a corner and looked for someone to hand a tract to, but the streets were totally deserted.

Then he turned toward the first home he saw and started up the sidewalk to the front door and rang the door bell.. He rang the bell, but nobody answered....

He rang it again and again, but still no one answered.

He waited but still no answer.

Finally, this eleven year old trooper turned to leave, but something stopped him....

Again, he turned to the door and rang the bell and knocked loudly on the door with his fist. He waited, something holding him there on the front porch He rang again and this time the door slowly opened.

Standing in the doorway was a very sad-looking elderly lady. She softly asked, "What can I do for you, son?" With radiant eyes and a smile that lit up her world, this little boy said, "Ma'am, I'm sorry if I disturbed you, but I just want to tell you that *JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU* and I came to give you myvery last Gospel Tract which will tell you all about
JESUS and His great LOVE."

With that, he handed her his last tract and turned to leave.

She called to him as he departed. "Thank you, son! And God Bless You!"

Well, the following Sunday morning in church Pastor Dad was in the pulpit.

As the service began, he asked, "Does anybody have testimony or want to
say anything?

Slowly, in the back row of the church, an elderly lady stood to her feet.

As she began to speak, a look of glorious radiance came from her face, "No one in this church knows me. I've never been here before.

You see, before last Sunday I was not a Christian. My husband passed on some time ago, leaving me totally alone in this world.

Last Sunday, being a particularly cold and rainy day, it was even more so in my heart that I came to the end of the line where I no longer had any hope or will to live.

So I took a rope and a chair and ascended the stairway into the attic of my home.... I fastened the rope securely to a rafter in the roof, then stood on the chair and fastened the other end of the rope around my neck. Standing on that chair, so lonely and brokenhearted I was about to leap
off, when suddenly the loud ringing of my doorbell downstairs startled me. I thought, "I'll wait a minute, and whoever it is will go away."

I waited and waited, but the ringing doorbell seemed to get louder and more insistent, and then the person ringing also started knocking loudly.

I thought to myself again, "Who on earth could this be?

Nobody ever rings my bell or comes to see me." I loosened the rope from my neck and started for the front door, all the while the bell rang louder and louder.

When I opened the door and looked I could hardly believe my eyes, for there on my front porch was the most radiant and angelic little boy I had ever seen in my life. His SMILE, oh, I could never describe it to you!

The words that came from his mouth caused my heart that had long been dead, TO LEAP TO LIFE as he exclaimed with a cherub-like voice, "Ma'am, I just came to tell you that JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU."

Then he gave me this Gospel Tract that I now hold in my hand.

As the little angel disappeared back out into the cold and rain, I closed my door and read slowly every word of this Gospel Tract. Then I went up to my attic to get my rope and chair. I wouldn't be needing them any more.

You see---I am now a Happy Child of the KING. Since the address of your church was on the back of this Gospel Tract, I have come here to personally say THANK YOU to God's little angel who came just in the nick of time and by so doing, spared my soul from an eternity in hell."

There was not a dry eye in the church. And as shouts of praise and honor to THE KING resounded off the very rafters of the building, Pastor Dad descended from the pulpit to the front pew where the little angel was seated.

He took his son in his arms and sobbed uncontrollably.

Probably no church has had a more glorious moment, and probably this universe has never seen a Papa that was more filled with love & honor for his son... Except for One.

Our Father also allowed His Son to go out into a cold and dark world.. He received His Son back with joy unspeakable, and as all of heaven shouted praises and honor to The King, the Father sat His beloved Son on a throne far above all principality and power and every name that is named.

Blessed are your eyes for reading this message.
Matthew 10:32 says:

"Whoever acknowledges Me before men, I will acknowledge him before My Father in heaven.

But whoever disowns Me before men, I will disown him before My Father in heaven"
