Discipleship Training

Yesterday we started the discipleship training of the 4 ladies who have been baptized in our church. It was announced in our worship service last Sunday and I asked the ladies what is the best time for them to have the discipleship training and they said 1:00 PM and they agreed to do it every Wednesday at 1-2 PM. I noticed that the new converts are not growing spiritually and sometimes they don't attend our services regularly. Hubby and I were praying to the Lord to bless our members and that they will have a closer relationship with the Lord. We believe that the discipleship training will help the ladies grow spiritually after they accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

The Ant And The Contact Lens: a true story

Brenda was almost halfway to the top of the tremendous granite cliff. She was standing on a ledge where she was taking a breather during this, her first rock climb. As she rested there, the safety rope snapped against her eye and knocked out her contact lens . 'Great', she thought. 'Here I am on a rock ledge, hundreds of feet from the bottom and hundreds of feet to the top of this cliff, and now my sight is blurry.' The Power Of Prayer

My hubby requested to our pastor that he would like to preach in our church before we leave Texas for the Philippines. So my hubby got to preach Wednesday night. His message was about PRAYER. Before he started his message, he told the congregation how the good Lord has answered our prayers. For many months, we've been praying to the good Lord that we can sell our house and give us the means so we can go back to the Philippines. My hubby even set a goal that he would like to go to the Philippines by the end of this year. I told him it's impossible because it's not easy to sell a house these days. It was already October and still we didn't have a buyer. But then, we kept on praying and believing that God will answer our prayers in His time and He did.
