What A Day That Will Be!

The lyrics of the following song really touched me. The first time I heard this song was when we sang it in the church and my tears rolled down my checks while we were singing this song. They were tears of joy knowing that someday when I get to see my Savior, that would be a glorious day!

No more clouds in the sky, no more tears to dim the eye.
All is peace forevermore on that happy golden shore,

What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see,
And I look upon His face,
The One who saved me by His grace;

And leads me through the Promised Land,

There'll be no sorrow there, no more burdens to bear,
No more sickness, no pain, no more parting over there;
And forever I will be with the One who died for me,

What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see,

What a glorious day that will be indeed! Just thinking about it makes me excited, to be able to look upon my Savior's face and thank Him for dying on the cross for me! Just think, no more pain, sickness or sorrow, nothing but peace and joy. Jesus love us so much that He died just for us who are but sinners and unworthy of that kind of love. He is really worthy to be given thanks, praise and love.

Brenda was almost halfway to the top of the tremendous granite cliff. She was standing on a ledge where she was taking a breather during this, her first rock climb. As she rested there, the safety rope snapped against her eye and knocked out her contact lens . 'Great', she thought. 'Here I am on a rock ledge, hundreds of feet from the bottom and hundreds of feet to the top of this cliff, and now my sight is blurry.' The Power Of Prayer

My hubby requested to our pastor that he would like to preach in our church before we leave Texas for the Philippines. So my hubby got to preach Wednesday night. His message was about PRAYER. Before he started his message, he told the congregation how the good Lord has answered our prayers. For many months, we've been praying to the good Lord that we can sell our house and give us the means so we can go back to the Philippines. My hubby even set a goal that he would like to go to the Philippines by the end of this year. I told him it's impossible because it's not easy to sell a house these days. It was already October and still we didn't have a buyer. But then, we kept on praying and believing that God will answer our prayers in His time and He did.
