How Prayer Help Us

P- Prepares the heart. Proverbs 16:1 THE PREPARATION OF THE HEART IN MAN AND THE ANSWER OF THE TONGUE, IS FROM THE LORD.
R- Renews, Psalm. 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a right Spirit within me.
It repairs the decay of spiritual strength. It renews a constant spirit within us
A- Apply, Proverbs 2:2 So that those incline thine ear unto wisdom and apply thine heart to understanding.
Y- Yield, Psalm 40:8 I delight to do thy will O my God, yea thy law is written in my heart.
We must stop opposing or objecting to what God is telling us, yield our heart, soul and body to His ever command.
E- Enlightens, Ephesians. 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.
R- Request, Philippians. 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God.

Prayer is very important in a Christian's walk in life, it gets God's attention. It make old satan worry because he knows God is going to answer your prayer. We should never take prayer lightly or for granted. Pray one for another. God bless.

Brenda was almost halfway to the top of the tremendous granite cliff. She was standing on a ledge where she was taking a breather during this, her first rock climb. As she rested there, the safety rope snapped against her eye and knocked out her contact lens . 'Great', she thought. 'Here I am on a rock ledge, hundreds of feet from the bottom and hundreds of feet to the top of this cliff, and now my sight is blurry.' She looked and looked, hoping that somehow it had landed on the ledge. But it just wasn't there. She felt the panic rising in her, so she began praying.. The Power Of Prayer

My hubby requested to our pastor that he would like to preach in our church before we leave Texas for the Philippines. So my hubby got to preach Wednesday night. His message was about PRAYER. Before he started his message, he told the congregation how the good Lord has answered our prayers. For many months, we've been praying to the good Lord that we can sell our house and give us the means so we can go back to the Philippines. My hubby even set a goal that he would like to go to the Philippines by the end of this year. I told him it's impossible because it's not easy to sell a house these days. It was already October and still we didn't have a buyer. But then, we kept on praying and believing that God will answer our prayers in His time and He did.
