Happy Sunday

It's a rainy Sunday! For a few days now, it's been raining cats and dogs due to typhoon Mina. I was praying to the Lord that it will not rain hard today so people will go to church. The Lord answers prayers. The people who were present this morning in our worship service were more than what we expected. Hubby prepared his message a few days ago entitled Christ as Lord in our Lives and the text verse is found in Colosians 3:1. We had a good service today though it showered a little bit this morning. Thank you Lord for you are the Lord in our lives. Jesus the Boss, Lord of lords and King of kings!

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. Colossians 3:1-3 KJV

The Ant And The Contact Lens: a true story

Brenda was almost halfway to the top of the tremendous granite cliff. She was standing on a ledge where she was taking a breather during this, her first rock climb. As she rested there, the safety rope snapped against her eye and knocked out her contact lens . 'Great', she thought. 'Here I am on a rock ledge, hundreds of feet from the bottom and hundreds of feet to the top of this cliff, and now my sight is blurry.' She looked and looked, hoping that somehow it had landed on the ledge. But it just wasn't there. She felt the panic rising in her, so she began praying.. The Power Of Prayer

My hubby requested to our pastor that he would like to preach in our church before we leave Texas for the Philippines. So my hubby got to preach Wednesday night. His message was about PRAYER. Before he started his message, he told the congregation how the good Lord has answered our prayers. For many months, we've been praying to the good Lord that we can sell our house and give us the means so we can go back to the Philippines. My hubby even set a goal that he would like to go to the Philippines by the end of this year. I told him it's impossible because it's not easy to sell a house these days. It was already October and still we didn't have a buyer. But then, we kept on praying and believing that God will answer our prayers in His time and He did. God sent us a buyer of our house on the 1st week of November. Now we're getting ready to go back to the Philippines. It's really amazing how the good Lord answers prayers.
